Linija Mass was a solo project lead by Alexander Lebedev-Frontov, formed in the USSR in 1987. The sound is characterized by recorded samples and fields recordings of factory machines and scrap metal, formed to create rhythm industrial noise and sound collages, sometimes there are Soviet political speeches too. Some really fantastic stuff if you want to feel like a patriotic Soviet factory worker building your nation. Mechano-Faktura is the best representation of his industrial sound I've heard, though Fanatisch Eiskalt Maschine is very good as well.
Alexanger Lebedev-Frontov passed away in 2022.
